UVSC 2019 Year End Report

Between our regular local members, visiting veterans from further away,
players moving to the area, and seven new players who came to give
tournament-style Scrabble a try, we had an excellent year for
attendance.  A total of 25 different people played 548 games this year.
Having David S. visit for three months during the summer and gaining new
regular member Marilyn B. definitely helped keep those numbers up!  We
twice experimented with holding club sessions on the weekend as well,
and given their success we hope to continue doing so from time to time.
Three new players joined us at the very end of the year and have already
returned, so we appear to be on a good trajectory to continue growing.

A total of 1513 bingos were played, 568 of which were 8-letter bingos
and nine of which were 9-letter bingos.  Player statistics for the year
are attached below for the 23 players who played at least three games.
For high plays, our records are not rigorous and thus some of the
entries are left blank.
