UVSC Session Report
September 10, 2018 (Session #196)
(authored by BJ)

Gabe, Margaret. Ellen, Iliana and I played a total of 11 games this
week. I got to play a cool word, ALIZARI# (a dye-yielding Mediterranean
plant), that I learned shortly after someone played ALIZARIN (a
brownish-yellow dye) on me in the recent Niagara tournament. I also
found out in that tournament, purely by taking a wild guess in that same
game, that ALIZARINE (alternate spelling of the dye) is valid, too.
Finally, did you know that REDUX is only an adjective, and is not also a
noun? I should have known that, but didn't. Suffice it to say, now I
know!

Our bingo list also included: ACAROID, PEATIER, AGUISES#, EUPNOEAS
(normal breathing), TALCIEST, ENLIVEN, FOODIES, TAJINES (an African
stew), RETAILOR, NEONATE, MISTRAL (a cold, dry wind), PINTOES, HILLIER,
CAGIEST, and TOTTERS.
