UVSC Session Report
June 11, 2018 (Session #184)
(authored by BJ)

Ellen, Iliana and I had a small but fun session this week. Adelie
joined us for dinner and entertainment, leaving the words to us. Among
the words that went down were DOGTAIL by Ellen, a relatively new word
which Merriam-Webster Unabridged defines as "a molder's small usually
heart-shaped trowel with a curved handle", though M-W Scrabble Word
Finder says it is "a type of grass". I guess no one knows for sure what
it is, even within M-W. :) I was pleased to find CELERITY during one of
my games ("swiftness"), and Iliana played the very nice TOPLINER# ("a
star performer or headliner", valid only in CSW despite appearing in M-W
online).

Here are the rest: ALIENAGE, EARINGS, STERNLY, DETRAIN, DEMOTES,
STARVES, DEVISING, ANESTRA#, TENTIER, DEMASTS, AEROLITE, SARCINAE,
VEXATION, BITCHING, SECTION, and OXIDATE.

Also, I set a new personal record for most I's on my rack at one time,
the result of a post-bingo 7-tile draw (see below). Also below is a
TWL game between Ellen and I featuring two of the bingos above.
