UVSC Session Report
March 5, 2018 (Session #170)
(authored by BJ)

You have ADEIIRT on your rack and there's an open C on the board. Can
you find the (TWL) bingo? Iliana did, to the tune of 149 points by
hitting two triple-word scores!

We were very happy to welcome Don F. back to our club for the first time
in quite a while, and Mike F. also made the drive north to join us too.
Combined with a quick visit from Johanna plus our regular members, we
had a good showing of seven people. Five rounds of Scrabble turned up a
number of excellent bingos, including: LAKIEST, URODELE, PECTINS,
SNOOTIER, CLAYIEST, RELEARNT, BIRLERS, CLERICS, TITHERS, STENTOR,
INUTILE, UNRIVEN#, DEONTIC, LAVENDER, INERTIAE, DAWTING, COESITES,
CHIMERS, DARKLES, WEINERS, ENJOINED, PALIEST, DEAIRED, VIGORISH, and
WHITTLER. And in the high non-bingo category, Iliana once again cashed
in big, this time with a nicely slotted play of JAVAS for 86
points!

Following the Scrabble, Don, Iliana and I played Boggle and had some
fairly rich boards, producing the likes of AUNTLIKE, REPIQUES#,
INSIDERS, EASINESS, ARBITRATE, and EASINESSES. I was able to find some
of those long ones, and came out on top in the scoring.

Pictured below is the (CSW) board containing Iliana's JAVAS play. All of
the words surrounding it were already in place when it was played:
